Standing Tall

Leo's has a new favorite activity.
Standing up on anything and everything. If he can reach it with his hands, he can pull himself up. Then he stands there, looks at you and grins. He thinks he is pretty cool, which of course he is.
As his mother I am worried that he is going to lose his balance and knock out one of his 7 1/2 teeth that he has worked so hard for. No accidents so far though(knock, knock, knock).


We hope everyone is doing well. We are just waiting for spring. I have never been more ready than this year for some warm weather! We are all getting a little restless in our house, especially our dog Charlie. She is ready for some long walks, and so are Jeremy, Leo and I.

An Anspach Christmas

Grace, Paige, Ella and Leo

We had a great time last weekend when Doug, Michelle, Grace, Paige and Ella came from Ohio to celebrate Christmas! With the weather, we had a hard time getting together before Christmas, but we are happy to get together whenever we can!

Do you know how difficult it is to get four children together for a group picture?


One the the girls' favorite things about coming to Grandma and Grandpa's house is root beer floats. It has become a ritual when they visit. This year, Leo got to join in the fun. He didn't have the root beer, but did partake in the vanilla ice cream!

I believe Christmas is now over for us. The next big holiday we will be celebrating will be Leo's First Birthday on March 3rd!

Big Boy Bath

Leo got a new big boy bathtub! No more kitchen sink or infant tub for our guy!

Needless to say, he really enjoyed his first bath in the real tub.
