Where has the summer gone?

Hello! It's been quite awhile since I have updated the blog. I guess its just been crazy at our house! We just completed construction on our home addition and we are now getting some normalcy back into our lives. Phew!

Marcy and Leo are both doing great! Marcy is 7 months old (tomorrow) and she has about 6 teeth. She has been such a trooper! I don't think they have bothered her at all. It hasn't caused her to wake up at night, which Jeremy and I are thankful for! She's our "amazing sleeping baby", just like Leo was. Both of my kids have slept through the night since 6 weeks old. It's awesome.

Marcy is starting to make some funny noises! Her favorite now is "Blah"! We blah right back at her too. She is really easy to get to laugh and her giggle is the best!

Leo is such a fun little boy! He is 2 1/2 this month. He has the best sense of humor of any child I've ever seen...he is hilarious! He is really into anything dinosaur right now. He also likes the Wonder Pets on TV! He loves his little sister so much. He can really get her laughing, and he thinks that is neat.

Can you believe those big blue eyes? How gorgeous!

Have a great week!

Jenny, Leo and Marcy

Kiddie Day was held downtown last Friday night. There were hundreds of kids that marched in a kiddie parade! Most people had their bikes, strollers or in our case a buggy decorated. There were some very elaborate floats. I will have to step it up next year...we decided to do a tiki/Hawaiian theme this year. Leo thought it was so cool! When he first saw his decorated buggy he pointed at it and said, "Uh-oh"!

We did get a little distracted from the parade route by a huge pile of sand. Can you really blame him?

Saturday was Family Day at the park. Leo got both of his hands painted. A dinosaur on one hand and a red balloon on the other.

Showing off his red balloon!

Whoa...FIRETRUCK! The awesome firefighters brought over a truck and hooked up a big sprinkler for all of the kids to run through. It was so much fun!

He did, unfortunately lose the hand paintings...
but he didn't seem to mind!

Have a great week!

Climb Every Mountain!

Leo and Daddy decided to climb the big "sledding hill" while we were at the park on Sunday! It was quite a long haul all the way up the hill!

Running toward the hill!

Half way up!

They did it!

Heading back down...

Success is sweet!

After the hill adventure, we had to go down to see the river and skip some stones. Oh yeah, and look for crocodiles. We didn't see any.
Like father, like son!

Marcy is such a happy baby! She loves riding around in her stroller!

Leo loves his sister!

The park is also exhausting. Marcy dozed while we spent another hour at the playground!

Have a great week!

The Zoo!

LOOKING GOOD!

We had a really great time at the Zoo last weekend! Leo loves all sorts of animals and was so excited to see them all! He is into baby animals too, so we had to be on the lookout for any baby animals!

Marcy was a little angel at the zoo. She is so easygoing! Grandpa gave her a bottle and she slept all through the new African Adventure! She missed the lions and giraffes, but I don't think she minded.

Leo and Grandma checking out the train!

Snack time!

Leo loved the trash cans shaped like animals. We could hardly get past the entrance of the zoo! It was so cute, he had to wave and say bye-bye
to all the trash cans!

Have a wonderful week! Love, Jenny, Leo and Marcy
