Happy 3rd Birthday, Leo!

The big 3!

This is his cake for his actual birthday (notice the picked off m&m's), which was on a Wednesday. We celebrated that night with Grandma (x2) and Grandpa. He opened presents that night from us and we just had a great time. Leo's favorite presents were 4 Madagascar beanie babies! He just loved them and he has carried them around with him almost nonstop since then!

This was his cake from his birthday party we had on Saturday. It is a Madagascar cake and he loved it! He didn't even care that the volcanoes deflated overnight (and kind of look like boobs).

Troublemakers!
Leo + Lucy = best friends!

His little sister helped him open some gifts.
 Cool new workbench!

Happy Birthday, big guy!

Next will be cousin Zak's birthday!

Gratuitous beautiful 1 year old picture....

Oh my gosh, here is another one...

Have a great week!

Happy Birthday, Marcy!

The big "1"!

How cute are my cupcakes?
If you said "Super-cute" you are right.

Before...

After!

She didn't dig in too much to her cake, I was shocked. She acted like a lady and just picked off the sprinkles. Then, she put her nose in the cake...

She dug her fingers in and then had to touch her hair...

EWWW!

Babies, babies, pregnant people, babies, babies, pregnant people......

Oh, my little man. He will soon be having his own birthday party! Mr. Leo will be turning 3 next week!

Have a great week!

Happy New Year and Sledding!

We have had so much snow the last couple of weeks. It has been so beautiful! Leo and Jeremy have also had an opportunity to use Leo's new sled!

After sledding, they decided it would be fun to build a snow mountain!

While the boys were outside getting cold (but enjoying it), Marcy and I were inside getting the hot chocolate ready to warm them up!

Have a great week, and Happy New Year!

Christmas Cookies

Leo, Grandma and Grandpa made Christmas cookies a few day before Christmas. We had to make sure Santa had a yummy snack when he visited our house on Christmas Eve.

Pure Concentration

Even Marcy got in on the action!

Little stinker!

YUMMY!

On Christmas Eve we set out the cookies and some milk.

As you can see, Santa enjoyed the cookies!

Have a great week!

Merry Christmas!

ATTACK GRANDPA!

Grace, Paige and Leo ambushed Grandpa last weekend with the little bit of snow we had on the ground!

Every little bit was used...

He is not so innocent...

Way to go, kiddos!

DECEMBER ALREADY!

It is the Christmas season! We tried to get our Sickmiller Family Christmas Tree, 2009 last weekend, but it didn't quite work out for us. It had been a lovely weekend, temps in the mid 40's which is decent for after Thanksgiving. So, we bundled up the kids and headed out to Hensler's Nursery to cut down our tree!

The second (and I mean the second) we put the car in park, the rain started. We were so bummed. We decided to give it a shot and see if the rain would pass. It didn't. We kept Marcy out of the rain, but Leo and Jeremy still did some wandering. There are real animals there, like baby cows, horses and bunnies. Leo thought that was really cool!

Marcy did not enjoy meeting Santa for the first time. If I must say so, the Santa was VERY scary at Hensler's!

The day after Thanksgiving we got to ride on the Firetruck right behind Santa during our Downtown Christmas Tree lighting! Leo and Lucy rode together and had a blast! We didn't really get any good pictures, but here you can see me in the pink coat holding Leo! I must admit, I thought it was pretty cool too!

I hope everyone has a wonderful December!

Check back soon!
