Happy Easter!

We hope you had a wonderful Easter! We hung around the house and then had a delicious dinner with my parents. Leo didn't even mind having the bunny ears on...I swear. Charlie did mind though, so I didn't get a picture of her to match the picture of her with the shamrocks on.

Grandpa and Leo exploring one of his three Easter baskets.

When I think of Easter I think of Spring. I think of the weather warming up and robins visiting our yard. Well the temperature did not warm up for Easter, we actually had a dusting of snow on the ground. There was also one very confused robin. Sammy wanted to meet the confused robin and talk. She promised she just wanted to talk.

The poor cat needs something to make her happy though. She get tortured by the dog every day. She also gets chased by the baby. Sometimes they work together to make her life really miserable.

Don't feel too sorry for Sammy. She actually lives a pretty charmed life, even with a mutt and a baby hanging around.

Have a fantastic week!

Which one should Leo choose?

Out of all Leo's ride-on toys which one will he pick? Hmmmm...

Will it be his rockin' puppy?

Nope.

Maybe his cool zebra?

No way.

How about his neato school bus?

Not a chance.

Mr. Leo chooses the laundry basket. Yep, that's right. Last night nothing was more fun than riding around the house in the laundry basket with an extension cord tied on, being pulled around by his daddy.

Have a great day!

55 degrees and we are thrilled

We finally were able to go outside for Leo's first car ride. Leo's first outside car ride. We have done hundreds of laps in the house and everyone is ready to head outside for some fresh air. Leo had a blast crusin' around the cemetary in his new ride. I had a pretty good time too. It was much easier than I thought it would be controlling Leo in his car along with a 90 pound dog that was very excited.

We had to bring along snacks because, well, Leo thinks everything is better with snacks.

Munch, munch, munch...

Notice our cute little home in the background.

Everyone stay safe on the roads out there. You never know what kind of crazy person is behind the wheel next to you!

Thanks for visiting Leo's blog...

Happy 1st Birthday, Leo!

Happy Birthday to our big guy!
It is so hard to believe that he is 1 year old already. The year has really just gone so fast. Too fast, I think sometimes. At every stage of his life I have said, "Oh, I wish he could just stay like this forever". When he was a little peanut, I said it. When he starting cooing, I said it.
When he started smiling, I said it. When he was just sitting up, I said it. Now here he is 1 year old. On the other side of things, I am also very excited for his future and the fun that will bring. There is so much to look forward to. I guess all we can do is enjoy the time we have and make the most of every single moment.

We had a wonderful birthday party on Saturday at our house. Leo was in a great mood (as usual) and he got to play with all his little friends and his family.

He was hot stuff with his "1" t-shirt

I had a great time making Leo's birthday cake!
He even got one all for himself to smash, which he did like a seasoned pro.

Leo did some major damage to his smash cake!

Too. Much. Cake.
Check out that gut!
Uncle Doug said whe should have gotten Leo a treadmill for his birthday!

Leo and all his buddies had a blast opening his gifts!

Leo's sweet new ride.
He was cruisin' it around for all the ladies at his party.

Cousins Ella and Zak thought the buggy was pretty cool too!

Looking through Leo's pictures, I saw this picture of Brittley literally minutes after Leo was born and compared it to a picture of them at the birthday party.
I love looking at these two pictures together!
Sorry B, I had to post 'em.

Thank you to everyone that has filled Leo's first year with love and happiness!

I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.

Until next time,

Jenny and Leo
