DECEMBER ALREADY!

It is the Christmas season! We tried to get our Sickmiller Family Christmas Tree, 2009 last weekend, but it didn't quite work out for us. It had been a lovely weekend, temps in the mid 40's which is decent for after Thanksgiving. So, we bundled up the kids and headed out to Hensler's Nursery to cut down our tree!

The second (and I mean the second) we put the car in park, the rain started. We were so bummed. We decided to give it a shot and see if the rain would pass. It didn't. We kept Marcy out of the rain, but Leo and Jeremy still did some wandering. There are real animals there, like baby cows, horses and bunnies. Leo thought that was really cool!

Marcy did not enjoy meeting Santa for the first time. If I must say so, the Santa was VERY scary at Hensler's!

The day after Thanksgiving we got to ride on the Firetruck right behind Santa during our Downtown Christmas Tree lighting! Leo and Lucy rode together and had a blast! We didn't really get any good pictures, but here you can see me in the pink coat holding Leo! I must admit, I thought it was pretty cool too!

I hope everyone has a wonderful December!

Check back soon!

Love,
Jenny, Leo and Marcy
